Have you ever noticed how fast the signal people in the community? We mean either those stupid, stupid, creative, brilliant, or genius, but have you ever stopped to consider, which is that before making the call? Indeed, we are all guilty of this, even if we claim not to be. That is to say that we make notes of people by grouping them fairly regularly, despite our disdain for the signs and the fact that we would never say anything that was off the scale of political correctness aloud.
In this test we note that often people are labeled as creative, almost as if an excuse for their behavior. “Oh, he’s creative.” Sometimes the stereotype of someone who for creative artwork, song lyrics, or design. “It’s so creative, it is brilliant.” Perhaps you have noticed reviews for plays, films or novels and word brilliant is used by all reviewers to mark a piece or an actor or a writer? Are they really brilliant? And what is the difference between a creative person and a brilliant one?
Actually I’d send you that all men are basically creative as they learn to think. Unfortunately, we train people to make memorization and then sit and watch TV for hours a day, surely this curtails the creative nature of the human being. The memorizing facts, the accumulation of knowledge and reward for getting the answer right test can do a disservice to the creative mind. Perhaps, that is why when we see a student who is doing a poor school, but comes up with an interesting or brilliant stuff, we say; “Oh, he’s creative,” as an excuse for poor test scores his.
However, creativity is something all men have and they have lots of it, so that the creative is nothing special, though most folks perceive it to be, perhaps because they have lost their creativity through social status, education, or media bombardment. Interestingly enough, signaling to people intelligent or smart if they are up on all the latest information from the media, and answers to trivia questions. But remember facts and figures is only one part of the intelligence, there are some 7 or 8 different test for intelligence and a lot of facts that are stored in one’s head is only one of talent.
In fact, a smart person would do very well on tests, but true smarts would also have a bit of cunning there. Art is a form of creativity and intelligence indicates otherwise. So, really creative person is someone who has one set of skills and a smart person has the other set. Very intelligent people have both sets. And brilliant people can use both sets together very well. Masters use these skills to their best. So, this seems to be a difference; at least in the current season and in our current society. The dictionary may have a different set of values described, but the present context, what is important here.
